One Month...

One month ago my life changed forever.

One month ago the most beautiful creature drifted into my life- as a woman, I cannot reiterate how blessed I am to be able to experience a miracle such as childbirth.

In this past month, I have had so many tearful moments. I think every morning when I wake up to his smiling face looking up to me to care and love him, I tear up with emotions of gratitude, humility and LOVE!

I love the look of his perfect little face. Every detail; his poreless skin, his long eyelashes, his pink pouted lips and toothless smile

I love all the hair on his little chubby arms and his back

I love the smell of his breath and his skin

I love his feathery hair

I love that when I'm burping him, or holding him, he'll scoot his way down over my heart and fall asleep. (Maybe my chest is comfy LOL)

I love everything about him!

I never knew love like this- I'm grateful to be this little persons Mother. To be entrusted to take care of his every need and to be the person to raise him into a fine young man!

I never knew I could sleep with one eye opened, be soo tired, yet so HAPPY to be awake with him.

I never knew I'd forget to eat

I never knew that showering at 4pm would become "normal"

I never knew I'd enjoy staying home ALLLLL day long!

I never knew I'd be able to change diapers so fast! Being peed on twice was plenty for me.

I never knew I'd forget all the pregnancy and delivery "fun" so quickly!

I've learned so much in the last month and could write a novel just on that, here's what he's been up to these last 30 days:

He is exactly 13lbs and 23 3/4 inches long today

He lifts his head on his own

He can roll over to his sides and when he gets enough momentum, he ends up on his belly! He did this at 2 weeks and freaked me out because he about rolled off the couch!

He never fit in newborn clothing, has been in 3-6 month stuff since birth!

He's wearing size 1 diapers

He is so strong! I think we have a football player on our hands! He can box your hands away like no other and kick himself around. Feedings can be challenging sometimes! Lol

He never cries! I thought something was wrong with him! Nothing seems to phase him! He only screams when his food doesn't come fast enough!

He loves bathtime

He hates socks and LOVES to sprawl out

He's been nicknamed the Diaper Destroyer by Ray- He will not poop in a wet diaper, or pee in a poopy diaper! He needs a clean new diaper to do that. I call him the Diaper Diva! I'm hoping he'll potty train quickly!

He smiles so much, is starting to "talk" and giggle.

Loves being held

Sleeps between 5-6 hrs a night! Yay!

He's so alert when he IS awake. So wide-eyed and bushy tailed ;)

He snores, farts and burps like a grown man, sometimes I'm not sure if it's him or Ray!

We love you little man!!
