This and That

All my blogs recently are about this pregnancy.. well, because that's really all that's going on in my life right now.  The good news is, I'm feeling better and better each day and have actually went to a few family functions the last few weeks. Last week I went to Frankie's graduation from Taylorsville and then this weekend I went to Lusi's baby shower on Friday and Tori and Jason's wedding on Saturday. I think I overdid it though, because I was struggling yesterday.

Anyhow, the purpose of this blog was to document the things I've developed aversions to and the things I actually can handle.. unfortunately there are more DISlikes than likes.

On a positive note, I'll start with the LIKES :)

LIKES:

Lucky Charms

Rice Krispie's

cucumbers

cold showers

Chicken Enchilada soup from Chili's, but when I call in the order, I have to specify NO chicken chunks and no tortilla strips or cheese (picky much?)

ICE cold water

cherry tomatoes

celery

dry almonds

*This is pretty much what I'm living off of right now*

DISLIKES:

pretty much ANY smell. I can smell something from a mile away. I hate when my neighbor is drying her clothes, I can smell her dryer sheets and I think she uses the Tide lavender breeze ones.. NASTY!

anything sweet, BUT Lucky Charms

anything but water

meat

cheese

fruit

and practically anything I didn't list in the LIKES category!

I can't believe how many aversions I have this pregnancy. Everything makes me sick, I can't handle a lot of textures of things and physically cannot swallow a lot of food.. no matter how much I force myself. So, I stick with what I can stomach, because Lord knows I hate throwing up more than anything.  The vomiting has subsided a lot, and usually I come close to throwing up when brushing my teeth. Thank goodness it's not like in the beginning where I had my head in the toilet 10 times a day. The metallic taste is still there, but also going away a little. Now, I just get a horrible after taste of things and it still makes certain things taste really sour. I can't wait for that to go away. Hopefully soon...

I see a light at the end of the tunnel. There were days where I didn't think I would ever feel better. I actually get excited for night time and to sleep because I know the next day I'll feel even better. I've been having crazy pregnancy dreams.. the other night I had a dream one baby weighed 7lbs and the other weighed 28lbs. I'm anxious to see how big these babies will be. I had Toa at 37 weeks and he was 9lbs 6oz, my doc said there's a good chance these could be 7lb twins.. which to me is AWESOME!!

We get to find out what the babies are in a few weeks. I could find out at 16 weeks, but Ray will be home the end of the month for Toa's birthday, so we are going to wait so he can be here for the gender ultrasound. Super exciting stuff! I really don't care what they are. I would like a girl, but then I want 2 girls because every girl should have a sister.. there's nothing like sisters in this world. One of each would be fun, but really, I don't care.. as long as they are healthy and strong!

Well, that's my blabbering for the day.. I'm off to Chili's to get some soup! :)
