Last night I stopped at the grocery store, as always, in a rush to get things done. I grabbed a few things for dinner and as I went to pay for my groceries, my card was declined! EMBARRASSING!!.
Well as I was walking away feeling like a moron, the cashier ran up to me with my groceries in hand and said that the gentelman behind me paid for my stuff. WOW!! What a generous person. I turned around, walked up to him all choked up and thanked him profusely for the kind act. He said "You're very welcome and Happy Thanksgiving"
I don't know who this man was, but what he did last night was bigger than he probably thought. I'll definitely be "paying it forward"! For those of you who haven't seen the movie "Pay It Foward", it is seriously one of the best shows ever made....I know if people actually do this, and pay it forward to 3 other people and they do the same, the world can become just a better place. Even if it's just a little :)
