Fins Weekend

I love that the Dolphin's give back to the community.

Fins Weekend is a weekend full of events to raise money for the Miami Dolphins Foundation.

Thursday night we had a dinner banquet and then Friday we headed to South Beach and had a fun filled weekend with everyone. The team was so generous and put us up in the Marriott right on South Beach. We had a kick-off party Friday night and then Saturday the boys went fishing for the day with different people who 'purchased' a day with players and the players would go on their boats and spend the day with them. I totally thought Ray was going to end up on some little row boat and be in the hot sun with no shade all day... I was so wrong though. Him, Kory and Koa were put on an 8million dollar yacht equipped with everything you need to get around the world. I was so happy he enjoyed the day with the boys and had a good time. I'm glad they were able to raise over $600,000 during the weekend for the foundation.

We went to Big Pink's restaurant which was across the street from our hotel. They have the yummiest food ever. I went earlier with the girls for lunch while the boys were fishing and low and behold sitting next to me at lunch was Patrick Ewing. The food was so good that I took Ray back later that night for dinner!

We had the most amazing view from our hotel room right on South Beach as well, and had a blast.. thank you Miami Dolphins for a great weekend with my little family and our Dolphin's family
