2 Months

Happy 2 months to our baby Toa!! As every parent says, time flies! I can't believe he is 2 months today and I'm just having the time of my life with this little guy...

He's not so little though. On Monday he had his 2 month well visit check-up. The doc was pleased with his growth and he was once again off the charts in height and weight :) Our little over-achiever!

Here are his monthly updates:

• 15 lbs 2oz


• 25 1/4 inches long


• Toa is such a GOOD baby. I don't just say that either. He never cries, unless he's hungry, but he cried for a few seconds when he got his shots. :( Mommy didn't even slap the nurse either! lol


• He's so smiley. We call him our little smiley pants.


• Coos and laughs a lot. I love having our "conversations"


• Almost holding his head up alone


• Can roll to one side. Not quite on his belly yet


• Ray has been gone for 3 weeks at camp and it's been really hard being away from each other, so I send Ray daily pictures of Toa and show Toa Ray's picture everyday so he can see Daddy!


• His eyes are hazel/dark greenish right now. OMG, I'm sooo hoping they stay that way. All of my sisters kids have brown eyes and they switched withing a week or two. Either way, he's beautiful!!


• His hair is growing so long. His fo-hawk is starting to fall to one side. I think most people think he's older than he is because he has so much hair. I have yet to go a day without someone saying "look at all that hair" :)


• He eats like a horse (no pun intended) My body is trying to keep up with him but having difficulty doing so.


• Sucks non stop on his hands, he HATES the binky and spits it out. I've tried 5 different kinds too. His hand, wrist or my shoulder does just fine


• He's wearing 6-12 month clothes. So many of his newborn and 3 month clothes were just wasted and now in storage. Watch me have all girls from now on.


• He doesn't care for tummy time. He's definitely my child as far as patience goes. He gets so frustrated if he can't hold his head up for the entire time.


• Has a death grip. I don't know how much hair of mine he has pulled out, or diapers he's ripped.


• Loves to FLIRT. Most people think he's 6 months old. He can smile and show off his dimples to the girls and they all just fall all over him. Uh-oh, I'm in serious trouble.


• Loves loves loves to be snuggled. He loves to have his neck kissed by anyone and loves to be held and cuddled. I LOVE IT


• Sleeps so well. I am so blessed. He sleeps around 9pm and wakes up around 5 to eat and then back to sleep till 9.. It's heaven!!

We love you Toa. You are definitely the love of our lives...
