gDiapers

Ok, so I am already completely obsessed with getting my son the best of the best and I'm pretty big on saving the Earth and recycling and all that jazz. So flying home today, I came across an ad in the Delta Mag about gDiapers.

One, I am NOT a fan on diapers that have to take 500 years to decompose in a landfill! Did you know 50 MILLION diapers enter the landfill EVERYDAY!!!???? That's a lot of POO if you ask me.....

Two, I do NOT like Pampers. For some reason I think they smell funny. I am a HUGGIES fan, however, the 500 years to disappear factor is in the way.

Three, I've only known of 2 options: cloth (uh, NO) and disposable...until today!!!

gDiapers are breathable. Plastic-free flushable refills keep babies dry and happy, so they’re less likely to get diaper rash. gDiapers have no elemental chlorine, no perfumes, no smell, no garbage and no guilt. In fact, flushables are so gentle on the Earth you can even garden compost the wet ones in one compost cycle, approximately 50 – 150 days. Just think of the standing ovation you’ll get from the planet.

I am HOOKED!!! I ordered my starter kit today. They are little more costly but I really want to try them and they come with these cute "little g" pants. I may know nothing about parenting, but I do know that my children have to live on this Earth and I guess I'll do my part on saving the environment.

Please visit www.gdiapers.com and maybe you'll get hooked as well! If any of you expert Mothers out there think otherwise, let me know. I really want to do what will keep baby and Mother Earth HAPPY!!!!

P.S. Please Recycle :)

Hey girl! So I looked into those when my lusiana was in my tummy, but I just couldn't get a hang of them because you would have to take the middle out and use the little swisher in the toilet so that it would go down and hook up the middle part again!! IDK maybe you'll be better at it!! lol let me know how you do with it n what Im doing wrong! It just took too long for me to change babies diaper! lol So lazy huh! lol k love you!

good idea, Kass. i swere i'm the only flight attendant that recycles at work. i'm talking the cups, the water bottles and the newspapers. but like you said, our kids will inherit our mess if we don't!! so it's worth it! and it makes you feel good at the end of the day. i think anyway. :)
