My bridal pictures were taken last month at the Great Salt Lake.. It was so much fun. My Momma came with me to help! I started out the day getting my nails and my hair done, it was pretty much a dress rehearsal for the big day!!! I was so excited..
When we got to Saltair, my mom helped me change into my dress.. There was nowhere to change, so yup, I changed right in the middle of the run down building..We started out by the building and then worked our way through the rail road tracks and then onto the lake while the sun dropped..
The pictures turned out beautiful, and thanks to the best photographer Adilfa, from Don Polo photography, we had a great time and got a TON of shots.. 4 hours later, the sun dropped and the mosquitos came out.. I think I had 10 bites by the time we were done, I was planning on changing by the lake, but the mosquitos were SO bad that I just jumped in my moms car, dress and all and we headed to Kamie and Matina's house in West Valley! I felt kind of funny driving around in a big wedding dress!! We got to Kamie's house and only Matina and his friends were there watching the Bronco's game... they looked at me like a freak running up to the house in a wedding dress and no groom! :)

I left a comment on Ku'uipo's blog about how beautiful your wedding looked and thought I'd just comment directly to you! You are too gorgeous! I can't believe I've only met you the one time when we went to get ice-cream with your sis and parents 'cause I feel like I totally know you and your family through Unga..Elder Kauvaka to you guys :) And that was like 9 years ago! And I know my hubby knows your hubby....I think they went to tonga together with Unga's uncle Siuaki for TYA. Anyhow, Congrats on your wedding! You two are a beautiful couple!
