Twins 1 Month

I can't believe how quickly time is going by with these two. Our days seem to be getting shorter and shorter, and you'd think with the small amount of sleep I'm getting the days would seem longer.
Nope, time has no mercy, that's for sure.
I'm loving every single second with them. No matter how tired I am.
They are so amazing.

The amount of diapers, wipes, formula and laundry we go through now is insane. I would guesstimate we go through about 25 diapers a day. 1 big can of formula every 2 days and a load of laundry a day with their blankets and clothes. It's very very busy now in our household. Jumping from 1 child to 3 certainly has been an adjustment.

At their 2 week check up, Ray had already gained almost an entire pound. He was 6lbs 15oz at birth and was 7lbs 13oz at the appointment. Moni was 7lbs 5oz at birth and was 7lbs 6oz at the appointment. He had lost quite a bit while in the hospital. They were both almost 22 inches long. The doctor suggested the hospital had their birth length wrong, because he knew there was no way they grew 3 inches in two weeks. His guess was they were about 21 inches at birth.

Here is what they are doing now. I'll start with the oldest ;)

Ray:
Wearing 3-6 month clothing
Size 1 diapers
You are my little stinker. At 9:30pm every night, it never fails. You are wide awake and you think it's play time until about 1am.
You love to be held
You don't like to be swaddled, you never have. Even at the hospital you would always manage to kick yourself free from the blankets.
You don't like the binky
You love your swing
You have the cutest little crooked smile with your dimples. Now that your cheeks are getting chubbier, your dimples are more define.
Your eyes are still a light grey. I'm thinking they'll be changing brown though.
You are a little chow hound. You can eat 4oz at a time and usually want another ounce after that.
You are very vocal. When you're mad, there is no holding back. You can go from sleeping to screaming your face off in .2 seconds.
You've had a little bit of a hard time adjusting to the formula, you have pretty bad acid reflux :( I hate seeing you go through that, but you never cry.
I think you're going to be my little hip monkey.
You're such a big handsome boy.

 Moni:
Wearing 3-6 month clothing
Newborn diapers (You have skinny legs)
You are such a good baby. You sleep sleep sleep sleep. I have to wake you up to eat because you will just sleep all night.
You have the softest, saddest cry I've ever heard. And the face to go with it.
You love being swaddled and warm.
You don't care for the binky either
You've had a little bit of cradle cap, and it moved down to your face :( but it's finally clearing up and I can see that beautiful skin again of yours.
Your dimples are so beautiful and deep. You have 4 of them. 2 by your eyes and 2 by your mouth. They melt my heart.
You're so mellow and calm and love being held.

We love you so much. I cannot begin to explain how full my heart is with the two of you here in our family. You make it complete! I love watching you grow and interact with each other. Your big brother Toa adores the both of you. Thank you for having me be your Mommy. You are so perfect...
I love you boys!!

**Quick story about this piglet they are taking the picture with. If any of you remember all the monthly pictures I took with Toa his first year, it was with a beanie baby lion that his Daddy gave him. Well I swore to the heavens I brought that lion back with me from Florida to take their pictures with it, but low and behold, I called Ray to check for it, and I had left it there :( Therefore they took a picture with this piglet. However, I now have the lion, but Ray bought them a stuffed cougar at BYU so now that's what they'll be taking their monthly pictures with. However, I still want to use the same lion lol)**
