Ray had a week off of work before mini-camp started and we really wanted to go do something fun with the boys. We were trying to decide between going down to the Keys or up to DisneyWorld. Originally we had decided to go on a cruise, just the two of us; but after Moni got sick, I couldn't bring myself to leave him for a week..
Of course Disney was more appealing, and would be a lot more fun for the boys..
We decided we wanted to stay at the Disney resort, and I am so happy we did. It was so much fun.. we chose the Polynesian Resort. We've gone there several times with my family on our annual trip, and loved it.. it was so convenient with the kids too.. if we got to hot, or tired, we could hop right on the monorail and go back to the room. We didn't use our car once while we were there for the weekend. So much fun. It was a little crazy with the twins, but they were all troopers. Toa had the time of his life. I can't wait until our trip in January with my entire family.. Toa is finally at the age where it is so fun and he understands and interacts much more. It was HOT and PACKED though and unfortunately rained every day while we were there. It was the sporadic Florida rain, and would always start late afternoon, so we missed the fireworks :( Definitely not my favorite time of the year to go, but we still had a ton of fun and made the best out of it.
Day 1
More of the hotel
We stayed in the FIJI building.
towel service everyday
Our room was the second to the right on the top floor.. great view of the lake!
Toa always trying to call people
This was the drive back home! Crazy Florida weather!
We also celebrated Toa's birthday there too.. I can't believe he will be 3 at the end of the month. I loved watching his face. When he met Buzz, it was priceless. He was so excited. He thought Mickey Mouse was a "scary monster" but he got over that. I love my little family.. such nice quality time together and more memories made!
