6 Months

Happy HALF year babies!! I can't believe it.. I still catch myself telling people you're 4 months old. It makes me so sad, you're not babies anymore... I really thought I was done having babies, but I don't know anymore. Your Dad thinks there is one more little spirit waiting to come down..maybe a sister?? :)  You're getting so big, and to be honest, it's getting tough to tote the both of you around. Especially in your car seats. However, you're in that stage where you can't really support yourself and you still want to sleep when we go places, but you're HEAVY!! haha..  

Ray:

You've got to be somewhere around 20lbs + 

You love to eat

You're wearing 18 month clothing and size 3 diapers.

You're so long, you remind me of Toa when he was this big.

You want to crawl so bad, you're getting up on all fours now and thrusting yourself forward. Most the time you do a face plant and scream, but then you try it again.

You've been teething, but no teeth have cut through yet.

You are my cry baby. 

You don't like unfamiliar faces.

Everyone says you look like your Daddy.. which you do. We compared your face to his baby passport picture and you resemble him so much. 

You like to sleep on your stomach/face. I don't really sleep because I'm constantly checking on you to make sure you're not smothering yourself. 

You can sit in the Bumbo forever! Sometimes it is my lifesaver.

You are the rasberry king and drool monster. You can soak through a bib in no time.

You're such a wiggle worm. You will never just hold still

You always always always fight sleep. No matter how tired you are, you won't sleep unless it's dark and quiet, and as soon as you hear something, you're wide awake again. Can we work on that please?

You cat nap throughout the day. 20 minutes here and there and then you want to be held the rest of the day. 

You are such a smiley boy though and have the most beautiful dimples. You smile at everything, especially Toa. He is pretty funny to you.

Moni:

You've got to weigh the same as Ray..you're my little chubba.

You're so long and a little longer than Ray. Most people think you're bigger because your head is a little bigger than Rays.. 

You've got the prettiest big brown eyes

You're so calm and mellow. Sometimes I feel so bad because Ray is always crying and you get left in the swing or bouncer while I try to calm him down. Maybe that's why you wake up so early so we can have our alone time for a few hours and just cuddle :) 

You spent a couple days in the hospital this month :( I was so sad to see you so sick. 

You're scooting yourself all over the place. On your back you will kick yourself around the whole room. 

You can propel yourself around on your stomach and roll all over the place.

You're so responsive and love to follow Daddy around the room with your eyes.

You still love playing with your hands and listen to yourself talk.

Everyone says you look like me when I was a baby.

You're not too sure about unfamiliar faces either. If someone else is holding you and you see me across the room, you get super sad.

You LOVE bananas and oatmeal.

 We love you so much. I know I say this every month, but I am so thankful for you!

Thank you for being so patient and good while I learn this whole twin thing.. 

I thank God for you each and every day and I know you can't wait to get up and play with Toa.. 

Can't believe you're half way to one!!!!  Here's some pictures I took.. You guys are so sweet together. You sooth each other. When one of you cries, the other cries out of sympathy. 

You always hold hands when you're lying by each other and touching... It's so neat to see the bond between the two of you.. I always hope you stay that way and are best of friends.....
