Elmo Blanket

I haven't made one of these blankets for years. I got the idea from my cousin Tupu. They are very simple to make and soo cute.. you can also make a Cookie Monster one with the blue and a Big Bird one with yellow material.

I made one for our friends daughter Aislynn who turned two yesterday... she loves Elmo. I hope she loves her blanket.
Start with your felt for the face, the furry red for his 'body' and pick a back material that you like. I picked this polka dot material because it was more girly for Aislynn.

Sew your eyes, nose and mouth separate and then pin them onto the blanket. I just drew up my own pattern for the eyes, nose and mouth.

Finished product. They are so cute and so soft and the kids love them. I do make sell these for gifts so if you want one, let me know :)
